The ability to upgrade parts and branch missions are two of the classic features that have been brought back.
Participating in turn-based missions that pit the player’s gang of wanzers against hostile forces is one of the game’s main features. In terms of its gameplay, the game is a genuine throwback to the origins of Front Mission 2 while also incorporating various elements from Front Mission 1, 3, and 4. These battles are fought with the wanzer, Front Mission jargon for a mecha. It transports the player to a harsh, futuristic world in which conflicts are fought between five global powers: the United States Navy, the Organization for Collective Unity, the European Community, the Organization for American Cooperation, and the Republic of Zaftra.
